Rare matchbook of the United States Maritime Service with the official song of the Maritime Service and Merchant Marine written by Jack Lawrence hand-signed by Hall of Fame composer-songwriter Jack Lawrence.
Jack Lawrence entered the Merchant Marines in 1943 as a Lieutenant when he wrote the song as bandleader at the Sheepshead Bay Maritime Service Training Station in Brooklyn, New York.
There is some edge wear and tannish toned discoloration from age to the matchbook.
