Linen shirt from circa 1830 as indicated on a tag accompanying the shirt which indicates the shirt was worn by Cyrus Stedman and is circa 1830 in age. The name is also written on the shirt itself in old lettering using black ink as can be seen in an image below. The shirt buttons are mother-of-pearl, one of which is in cracked condition. Another paper label attached to the shirt gives the 'Song of the Shirt'. The linen shirt has a few spot stains of discoloration.
