Japanese woodblock print by the title Surimono of eggplants by Japanese artist Toyota Hokkei (1780-1850). The woodblock print is an original done circa 1825 and is from a set by the title of Three Lucky Dreams. On the back of the frame is a Carl Ashby Gallery label. When examined out of the frame the print is linen backed and secured at the top corner edges to the mat as can be seen in one of the images below. The print is in fine clean condition.
