Sculpture depicting a kinetic transformation of single cell jitterbugs. The design changes form by the repositioning of the support shaft. The sculpture by the title of 'THE COMPLEX OF JITTERBUGS' is made from polished aluminum, etched copper and stainless steel The sculpture was made in 1976 by American architect and designer Richard Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) as indicated by his etched signature. The sculpture is one of an edition of 25 produced. The sculpture measures approximately 72" in height x 35" in diameter. The cost of shipping is additional depending on where it will be sent. |
