Document on parchment apparently concerning the Burgermeister of Zurich. I could not fit the entire image of the document in one scanned image so it is viewable in two images. The document was written using black ink on parchment. On the lower right corner is a collector's note 'Anno 1702' which apparently indicates the document was believed to have been produced at that time. The document measures 14"w x 8"h. The document is in good but folded condition with a couple of very tiny edge holes on the top and side edge. There are slits where a seal would have hung from at one time. |
