BECHER'S BROOK GRAND NATIONAL HORSE ETCHING Becher's Brook Grand National horse race etching. Marked in pencil on the lower border 'Josef Cisar to Stamford Olson'. Approximate etched plate dimensions are 11"w x 7.25"h. Approximate sheet dimensions are 16"w x 11.25"h. There is a tear on the lower border from the edge of the sheet to the edge of the plate. Piranesi Etching, 18th Century Etching depicting a view of the Grand Cascade at Tivoli titled 'Veduta Della Cascata Di Tivoli' done by Giovanni Piranesi in 1766.

The etching plate image measures 28"w x 19"h. The full sheet measures 33"w x 23"h.

The etching has been laid down on a stiff paperboard backing. The impression is nice with some even toning of the white color which is more tanned on the upper left corner.

There is a small circular impressed stamp on the lower right corner of the image and border which contains a crown in the center and 'Calcografia Di Roma Regia' around the crown.
