CIRCA 1850 LINEN CHEMISE Chemise made from linen every stitch by hand by Fannie Hallet Adams circa 1850 according to a label accompanying the shirt. The note also indicates her lover died of typhoid just before they were to be married and that a stud was used on the shirt instead of a button. There are some spots of discoloration.
