VERY EARLY SET OF 17 EMBROIDERED BUTTONS Very early set of buttons of star shaped needlework design. The buttons are circa 18th to early 19th century in age and range from 3/8" to 3/4" in size. Please inquire if you have questions.

VERY EARLY CIRCA 1830 LINEN SHIRT Linen shirt from circa 1830 as indicated on a tag accompanying the shirt which indicates the shirt was worn by Cyrus Stedman and is circa 1830 in age. The name is also written on the shirt itself in old lettering using black ink as can be seen in an image below. The shirt buttons are mother-of-pearl, one of which is in cracked condition. Another paper label attached to the shirt gives the 'Song of the Shirt'. The linen shirt has a few spot stains of discoloration. LATE 1700'S TO 1800'S LACEWORK BONNET Bonnet made circa late 1700's to early 1800's decorated with floral and leaf design on the back of the cap, butterfly type band design and leaf vine design. The leaf motifs are highlighted with a gauze type fill-in design. There are some small holes and a small 1" long repair in the background. One tie string is missing. The bonnet measures 8.5" X 7". VERY RARE EARLY 1700'S FINE LINEN COIF Very rare early 1700's coif according to a note accompanying the coif on which is written 'A very early "coif"--worn in the house--or under the outdoors hood or hat--1725 From the "Smiths" of Sunderland, Mass. Measures 17"l x 11.25"w. There is some toning of the linen primarily on the ruffled part. Please inquire if you have questions and/or would like a shipping quote.
